3 Inch · The Shortest Cut We Make
$54.00

Three inches, a split hem, and a compression liner built in underneath. Cut for stride first: nothing catches at the top of the leg, and the shell moves independently of the liner so the two never fight each other.

Three Inches.
Nothing In The Way.

Every inch of fabric below the hip is another inch that can catch, bunch or drag. This is the shortest cut we make, and it exists for the days you are chasing a number rather than dressing for one.

Every Detail Has A Job

Built Around
The Stride.

Split hem and liner at full stride
01

The Split Hem

The side seam opens rather than closing off the leg. At the top of the stride the hem gets out of the way instead of pulling across the quad, which is the whole reason this cut exists.

02

Two Layers, One Short

A compression liner underneath, an unattached shell over the top. The liner holds, the shell floats. Neither drags the other around, and there is nothing separate to buy or forget.

03

Zip Pocket At The Waist

Set into the waistband and zipped shut. Enough for a key, a card, or a gel, sitting flat against the back where it will not swing.

04

Flat Wide Waistband

Wide enough to sit still without a drawstring cutting in, and low profile enough to run under a heart rate strap without stacking up.

Questions, Answered

Three inches is short. Is there a liner?
Yes. There is a compression liner built in underneath the shell, so the shell length is the only thing that is short. Nothing about this short requires anything worn under it.
How do they fit?
True to size. For reference, our model is 6'1" and 212 lb with a 32 to 34 inch waist, and he wears a Large. He sizes up to an XL when he wants a looser fit. Check the size chart for exact measurements, and if you are between sizes, size up for room rather than down.
What is the difference between this and the Hybrid Short?
Length and intent. The Hybrid is a 5 inch short with three zip pockets, built to do everything. This is a 3 inch short with one zip pocket and a split hem, built to run. If you only own one, own the Hybrid. If you run seriously, you will reach for this one.
Will a phone fit in the pocket?
No. The zip pocket at the waistband is sized for a key, a card, or a gel. If you carry a phone on the run, the Hybrid Short has a liner pocket built for it.
Can I lift in them?
People do. The split hem and the short cut are the same reasons they work for sled and interval work. It comes down to whether you want a 3 inch short on the gym floor.
How do I wash them?
Cold water, tumble dry low or air dry. High heat is the fastest way to kill the stretch and the print.
