The shell did not change. The cut, the fabric, the three zip pockets, the waistband, all the same short you already own. What changed is underneath: the compressive liner now carries the same topographic print as our Land Nav Hybrid. From the outside it reads plain black. It only turns up at the hem when you step, and when you reach for the phone pocket.
A camo colorway can hide a rough seam or a cheap zip. Plain black cannot. This is the same short as every other Hybrid with the pattern taken off the outside, which means the build is the only thing left to look at.
Set into the compressive liner and sized for a large phone. It is the feature customers mention more than any other, and the reason people run and lift in the same pair without carrying anything in a hand.
Set inside a smooth stretch waistband so it adjusts without bulk, bounce, or a knot digging into your stomach under a belt.
The pocket almost no training short has. Wallet, phone or key fob sitting flat across the back and zipped shut, same as every Hybrid before it.
